The compartments can also be used to hide electronics, handguns, intimate devices, and other small items you want to keep concealed yet close at hand.
Thoughtful Design - The austere and simple, yet stylish design is intentional. Our idea was to make the headboard lean, smart, and as compact as possible. This is especially important for smaller bedrooms where space is at a premium. The frame of the headboard is black to match any decor, but you may choose the stain you prefer for the accent panels.
Instant Access - We wanted access to be as quick and simple as possible. Although an motor activated door may be James Bond cool, it's not practical for someone needing urgent access to their weapons. The headboard opens by pressing a key card into an small, unobtrusive slot in the top of each shelf. In a heartbeat the compartment pops open offering full unimpeded access to all its contents. Your weapons are available just inches from your head.

The Secret Compartments
The secret compartments are approximately 4 inches deep by 6 inches tall and range from 43" to 66" in width depending on the size of your bed. The compartments are unlocked and opened by use of a key card pressed into a small slot on top of each of the shelves. To close the compartment, you simply lift and press the compartment door back into place. It locks automatically. Compartments can also be used to conceal medications, ammo, electronic devices, small personal intimate items, cash, jewelry, or anything else you want to hide.
Ordering Considerations
Three Bed Sizes - This headboard comes in three sizes to match your mattress. Choose full, queen or king. To determine your mattress size, see the following mattress chart. You may bolt or screw your bed frame to the headboard or leave it unattached.
Mattress Height - Most mattresses are 16" to 24" from the floor to the top of the mattress. The bottom compartment in this headboard is 26" from the floor. Please measure the height of your mattress to insure the mattress doesn't cover the bottom compartment. If you have an especially tall mattress, we may need to provide column extensions. Please write a note in the comments section when you request a quote if your mattress is higher than 28" from the floor.
