The simple answer is, we don’t have to make a living selling furniture. We have other sources of income that put food on our table and a roof over our heads enabling us to keep our profit margins low and make excellent pieces available to you at reasonable cost. It truly is a labor of love.
Also, if you will notice, some other sellers of hidden compartment furniture don’t make the furniture themselves. They contract it out to others. When you add a layer between the maker and the customer, you must add additional costs.
